MHI is introducing a new Supply Chain Sustainability Resource Center to provide MHI members with insights and tools for managing sustainability efforts and programs within their company. This new center offers members some new informational programs and training opportunities including a Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition (LoCT) Training Program.

MHI has partnered with Guidehouse Consulting to provide MHI members the opportunity to benefit from Supplier LoCT sustainability training at a reduced cost.

The Supplier LoCT program has been widely recognized as a practical and scalable approach to addressing the universal challenge faced by companies in addressing scope 3 emissions, MHI stated. The program is designed to help build a strong foundation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and boost sustainability in your operations and your supply chain.

Supplier LoCT  is an online learning program that has supported the net zero journey of over 500 of the world’s leading suppliers. It was created in collaboration with iconic brands such as Mars, Clorox, McCormick, Estee Lauder, Pepsi, Coca-Cola to help their suppliers meet their supply chain sustainability needs. Supplier LoCT training includes two semesters (one year) of training within a five-course curriculum Scope 1 & 2 footprinting, Scope 3 footprinting, target setting, abatement, and disclosure. Training begins in October 2023.
